Drinks company Coca-Cola will close two major sites by 2019, a manufacturing site in Milton Keynes and a distribution centre in Northampton. The move will impact 288 jobs.
Coca Cola European Partners said the decision was made to help it improve productivity and efficiency.
Consultation with its staff has already begun.
The facilities at the two sites are going to be transferred elsewhere in the UK while CCEP is also hoping to redeploy staff hit by the closures.
