The BWCA has raised greater than ‘just a drop’ of cash to fund blank water assets in Zambia during the charity Just a Drop. The Association and its contributors have already raised over £66,000 and feature a thirst to lift but extra.
The BWCA annual charity golfing day objectives to just do that. On Thursday June 27, 2019 contributors and visitors will accumulate at The Oxfordshire Golf Course, close to Thame. Organiser Peter Brooks, deputy chairman of the BWCA says: “This combines the best of all things for golf lovers: convivial company on a superb course and all for a good cause. We invite others to join us”.
Phillipa Atkinson-Clow, common supervisor of BWCA mentioned: “Our 5 for 5 Sustainability Pledge has as one of its aims to seek ways to be more socially sustainable, helping the wider community and this is a perfect way to meet that objective. Last year this event raised in excess of £3,000.”
