The Automatic Vending Association attended a reception this week at Number 11 Downing Street, the respectable place of dwelling of the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The match used to be held to deliver in combination representatives of the industries who have been concerned within the new pound coin venture.
CEO, Jonathan Hart and Steve Collins represented the AVA on the match.
Jonathan commented: “It used to be nice to have the Treasury recognise the contribution the merchandising business made to make certain that the creation of the brand new pound coin went easily.
“Through our interactions from the very beginning of the project and our involvement in literally shaping the new pound coin, the Automatic Vending Association and the wider vending industry have played a pivotal role in the transition from the old to the new.”
