Paul Knight is the brand new gross sales director at Thomas Ridley
Leading foodservice wholesaler Thomas Ridley has bolstered its gross sales and e-commerce workforce with two new appointments. Paul Knight, joins as gross sales director, with a 30-year profession spent basically running for Bidfood and latterly as managing director of of Bidvest’s catering apparatus department for 15 years.
Damien Barrett, Thomas Ridley managing director, welcomed Mr Knight to the trade. He mentioned: “This has been a really tough year, but we are now able to put our business plans into action and activate key initiatives to move Thomas Ridley forward. This is a great time to welcome Paul to the business and elevate our sales department with his expert skills and industry knowledge. We are delighted to have him on board.”
Keen to get began in his new position, Mr Knight is leveraging his skillset to learn Thomas Ridley. He mentioned: “This is a really great company, they’re family owned and it’s good to be part of such a terrific team. I feel really empowered to drive the changes that we’ve set out for the business and deliver a bold and successful future for Thomas Ridley.”
