The Slow Food Coffee Coalition (SFCC)—a world community uniting all actors around the espresso provide chain—will take part for the primary time within the World of Coffee, the flagship match arranged through the Specialty Coffee Association, going down in Geneva, Switzerland, from June 26–28.

The SFCC champions agroforestry and agroecological practices, promotes the collaboration among stakeholders of the supply chain, protects the environment, and supports small-scale farmers.”

Central to this means is the adoption of Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS), which make certain that espresso is produced and traded thru clear, community-driven processes. These methods empower farmers to play an lively position in environment high quality requirements and verifying the authenticity in their merchandise—strengthening the bond between manufacturers, roasters, and shoppers.

In Geneva, the SFCC will carry in combination manufacturers from Mexico, Honduras, Peru, Thailand, Indonesia, and Colombia, in conjunction with roasters from Italy, Switzerland, and Denmark. Their collective presence highlights the Coalition’s dedication to construction a world, inclusive, and sustainable espresso community.
