The Automatic Vending Association (AVA) has announced that Alec Upton, of the Upton Group, has died after a short illness.
AVA chief executive David Lewellyn said: “Alec was a stalwart and characterful part of the vending industry, having built Upton Group from a small sweet shop in Selby with his wife Janet. Our thoughts are with Janet, Tracy, Ross, their families and all at Upton Group at this time.”
