Nottingham-based GEM Vending, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this yr, has introduced the purchase of merchandising operator Allen Vending.

The acquisition makes the corporate the most important privately owned merchandising operator within the East Midlands.
Steve Gallagher, chairman of GEM Vending, stated: “Bob Allen and Alan Ball (of Allen Vending) have been our friends in the industry for many years, having a strong reputation for an honest and loyal approach to both their staff and customers. The joining of our two companies is a perfect fit and can only enhance and broaden our service further and secure local jobs in the Midlands”.
The new GEM Vending Group shall be founded at GEM’s present head workplace at the outskirts of Nottingham.
